hmmm..distraction..indeed.hahahathis is nice, jamie...ganda...but meron akong crush na gawa mo sa fb.
Didn't know you sketch so well. What's your preferred medium, charcoal, lead/ graphite, or ink? Preferred ko graphite. Softer strokes, flexible to pressure. The style reminds me of the metamorphic engravings done by Albrecht Durer and early Leonardo da Vinci. The image of the girl is apparent, and the tree seems to be entangled in her silhouette. The title thus becomes ambiguous.Great work Jamie. Hope to see final plate.
You need the distraction...and focus at the same time.Be creative; stay creative.Boying Opaw

i miss my pencil, pen, ink and watercolors :(
jamie you have to teach me that effect on the right side of the tree. dont know though if its light or shadow...cant wait for it to be inked..
Weird. I like this better than the polished one. There's something about its rawness that adds to the ooommpphh of it.
@manech. it's the lines. i've noticed it adds a lot of dimension to the drawing. i really have to get better with my inking tho. it really does take a lot away from the original draft.thanks for the comments guys.
